We recently had the pleasure of completing a landscape lighting project at a beautiful home in Vancouver’s Kitsilano neighbourhood. This lush, well-established property offered the perfect canvas to showcase how subtle, strategic lighting can transform a garden into an enchanting nightscape.
Our focus was on highlighting the unique textures and natural forms of the mature trees. Each fixture was carefully positioned to bring out the depth and structure of the landscape without disrupting its natural flow. From the rich burgundy tones of the Japanese maple to the soft, feathery textures of the pines and ornamental trees, the lighting was designed to enhance each tree’s character.
Rather than adding visual clutter, all fixtures were tucked away and aimed with precision to preserve the peaceful ambiance of the space. The result is a layered composition of light and shadow that feels calm, intentional, and timeless.
Working with an established landscape meant integrating the lighting in a way that respected the existing design. No elements were disturbed, and care was taken to ensure the entire setup remains both functional and virtually invisible during the day.
This Kitsilano project reflects our commitment to lighting that’s elegant, restrained, and in harmony with the natural environment — a space the homeowners can enjoy every evening, all year round.
